Superpowers contest

Hi everyone! As you know I was thinking about making contests for a while. Since this idea had a small interest, I though that we can start small and hopefully more people interested in artistic competition with use of my resources will join us here :) If this contest gets some interest, I will make bigger one with larger prizes later on :) The theme is simple: present me using a superpower! :D Prizes First Place 800:points: Diamond badge + Hype badge Your artwork will be featured on the top of my Deviantart page for 14 days since announcing winners with direct link to your artwork and/or profile page. Second Place 400:points: Hype badge + Quartz badge Third Place Hype badge I do not know if this will be possible with the entries, but if I can, I will use them to create new banner for my page and then the links and credit will be show in my bio. Deadline is 7th of May 2024 at 18:00 UK time. Rules are simple: Only accepted type of artwork

Find your way around DA #1: Pose References

Coming up with interesting, accurate poses for your characters can be difficult. Either they all end up looking the same, or the poses just don't look right. Drawing from a reference is a great way to practice this. Luckily, there are lots of amazing resources available to help you out, both here on DeviantArt and one the big bad WWW. I've listed the ones I know here, so you don't have to do the digging. - I've picked resources that focus on poses, not on anatomy. This means that the drawn pose references listed here are not necessarily anatomically correct. Though the two are definitely related, to me they're not necessarily the same thing.
